"Stopped by this restaurant en route to Melaka. We ordered several individual plates of fried noodles: fried kway teow, hokkien mee and mun yee mee. Even the noodles lacked visual appeal, they tasted pretty ok and I have no complaints about it. I ordered a plate of la la siong thong too to try. The la la soup was quite nice and had red kei chee cooked in it which was sweet to eat. The la la was not totally fresh but they were edible. They serve pretty good kopi - cukup kaw even when served with ice. Cost only RM1.80 for an ice ta pau kopi, which is a steal compared to kopi prices in KL/Selangor. Overall prices are relatively and substantially cheaper than that found in KL/Selamgor."

"2026: Two years later, I am trying the same dish, to my surprise it was so much better. Exactly like what I asked for, more curry and spicy and they delivered it perfectly. Changed rating from 2 star to 5 star instantly. 2024 :Well I tried their pork curry rice. Rice quality was not good. The curry was so so. Xian Yuan (located also in Alor Gajah not too far away from this place) definitely tastes better. 29th may 2024 tried their kueh teow basah. Still not as tasty as Xian Yuan. The egg gravy was average. The kueh teow was clumpy. So pretty much average tasting and still can't beat Xian Yuan. Will compare more dishes in future. BTW today I waited 40 mins for my food. Service is definitely slower than Xian Yuan although the same number of crowd. Wait for further review. At this moment it stands at 3.5 star for me."
